03/18/2020 Updates:
Hello MAD fans and racers, we are aware of the concerns surrounding the Coronavirus outbreak and we are currently monitoring the situation. Things are changing quickly as we speak and we will deal with the issues as they arise. At the moment, our MAD events (Grand Enduro, Just Peachy Run Races, Desert’s Edge Triathlon Festival, and the West Slope Cross Cup series) REMAIN as scheduled.
A word from our event medical partner, EMS Unlimited:
“We do not anticipate significant health concerns for outdoor events. That being said, we ask that you communicate with your staff and participants – encourage and promote great hand hygiene and discourage anyone with a fever from working or attending your event. Additionally, for indoor and outdoor events, our team will be using a screening checklist to assess patients at an event. This screening will be searching for fever, cough, malaise and known or suspected contact with infected individuals. Our goal is to reduce/remove exposure to our team so that we may continue serving our community.”

Our contingency plan:
As the last resort, we will be cancelling / postponing the events to the following year. We will not be rescheduling within the same year as we already have numerous events rescheduling theirs into later in the year. Let’s keep it simple, if we decide or are advised by CDC and/or State of Colorado to cancel the current year event, we will simply roll your entry to the following year, keeping somewhat similar time frame of the year. We cannot grant refunds as we’ve already put in orders for the event products. However, we encourage you to register to lock in the best deals right now.
